Alexis Coins BELLISM: 21st Century Women Empowerment

Alexis recently coined the word BELLISM as her rendition of the 21st Century women's empowerment movement. "Our movement has two main agendas," says Alexis, " to redefine our society's narrow definition of beauty and to remind women everywhere that, we are in fact, on the same team." Sandy Banks from the LA times interviewed Emily Greener (head of PR for i am that girl) giving us insight to the new movement that is sweeping the nation and throws her support to all the Bellists out there saying, "You go girls!"

Thunder Bay: United Women's Run

Alexis was asked to be the Keynote speaker for the 30th Anniversary of the Royal LePage Women’s United run in Thunder Bay, Canada. Speaking in front of several thousand women, Alexis had the honor and the opportunity to inspire girls and women ranging from 8-80 years old. Also while in Thunder Bay, Alexis spoke at a corporate event held for the office staff of Royal LePage on the topic of "Dreaming Big."

The Summit Series: The Most Influential CEO's and Entrepreneurs Under 35

Alexis was cordially invited to attend the Summit Series in Aspen, Colorado. The invite-only event consisted of 115 of the “Most Influential CEO’s and Entrepreneurs Under 35." Alexis joined the prestigious group as the Founder and CEO of i am that girl as well as her motivational speaking company, AWJ. The event also put an emphasis on philanthropy and Alexis had the opportunity to share iatg’s launch of That Girl Goes Global, an international leadership program recently launched in Cambodia.

Invisible Children Rally in Washington, DC

Alexis was asked to join the founders of “Invisible Children,” (a non-profit dedicated to ending a war in Uganda) in order to lobby with them in Washington, DC. Having the honor and privilege of working alongside such courageous boys, Alexis joined actress, Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Gossip Girl, and Heroes) in lobbying with Senators and Congressman to discuss the child soldiers in Uganda. Joined by actor, Val Kilmer (Heat, Batman Forever, The Saint) and musician, Peter Wentz (Fall Out Boy); Alexis spoke at a rally in front of thousands of people in hopes of ending the Ugandan war and bringing home the child soldiers of Joseph Kony.

Survivor: Micronesia Swimsuit Calendar

Alexis and the cast of CBS's Survivor: Fans vs Favorites modeled for Survivor's 2008 Swimsuit Calendar. Micronesia is known as a tropical paradise with nearly 360 degrees of breath taking scenery. It served as the battleground for the shows competition and is considered one of the most beautiful places on earth.

ESPN's "Go To Girl" Gives her Baseball Predictions

With an extensive background working in Sports, Alexis has created a reputation for herself as not just another pretty face. Whether it's college football predictions, baseball stats or basketball's most recent injuries; she has an opinion more educated than most guys.

Rautins-House Celebrity Golf Tournament

Alexis helped raise several thousands dollars for the local children's hospital in Ottawa, Canada by playing in a celebrity golf tournament. Being the number one pick by the charity's sponsors paying to play a day of golf with their favorite celebrity, a girl who'd never swung a golf club birdied on the 16th hole. She exercised her famous Texas Tomboy reputation, teeing off from on top of the golf cart, further humbling her competition.

Alexis Jones was recently named one of the newest contestants on Survivor's Fans vs Favorites. This dimpled, all- American, Southern Bell will fight it out against nineteen other competitors for the prestigious title of being the Sole Survivor. A twenty-four-year-old, motivational speaker was host, Jeff Probst's pick for who'll be the last standing and the biggest threat of the season.

Swoop Magazine Cover: USC's Wonder Girl

Alexis, aka USC Wonder Girl, recently launched the hit college football site, insideusc.com, where she gives the inside track behind the scenes of Pete Carroll's Trojans. Swoop takes pride in highlighting beautiful, dynamic women who excel in their field and she's at the top of that list. Alexis is using her Entertainment background as a platform to reach young women and instill authentic confidence in all she encounters.

Webdigest: "Alexis is That Girl"

Being among the six finalists, lasting 33 impressive days and suffering an almost game ending injury; Alexis walked away one of the most beloved and memorable players in Survivor history. More importantly, Alexis is in fact, "That Girl;" after having started her own empowerment company for girls, and using her recent celebrity status, she's a living, breathing testament to what she preaches.

This Austenite stole our hearts when she covered the USC football team back when they had a little streak of their own going. Now she's doing the same thing with the rest of America with the newest s season of Survivor. We're predicting (hoping?!) she'll take over for Elizabeth Hasslebeck by the end of the year.
